SUMMARY
The Social Exclusion Unit report on teenage pregnancy, (DoH 1999) proposes to reduce teenage conceptions from 90,000 to 45,000 by the year 2010, and to reduce social exclusion of teenage parents by improving support, access to education, training and employment.
